On September 27th, during the Saturday night portion of the Masters Grand Slam in Los Angeles, Jump Charity, the non profit organization started by Sterckx Stables, took the Grand Prix ring to ride for Mustard Seed Ranch, an organization dedicated to providing equine assisted therapy and life-experience programs youths in need across Southern California.
The girls of Sterckx Stables, decked in full lollipop and purple hair clad inspirations, ran through the show ring, as professional rider Rodrigo Pessoa, of the famed saddle company, and amateur rider Jean Cristoff Mely took a three way tied for first place. All to the tune of California Gurls by Katy Perry, a theme inspired by the beautiful Southern California setting of the Los Angeles sun-kissed grounds of this years Masters Grand Slam.
As a result of the combined efforts of Jump Charity, Sterckx Stables, and the parents and friends of all the participants, Team JUMP, raised an incredible $35,000 for Mustard Seed Ranch.
